Battery End of Life Recyclability
As a producer of industrial EV and 12v batteries, under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009:
KGM Motors UK Ltd produce and place on the UK and Northern Ireland market the below chemistry type industrial EV and 12v starter batteries,
High Voltage EV Batteries
- Korando E-Motion - Lithium-Ion (Li-ion)
- Torres EVX - Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP)
12v Starter Batteries
- Tivoli, Korando, Torres - Absorbent Glass Matt Batteries (AGM)
- Rexton, Musso - Flooded Lead Acid Batteries (FLA)
As part of this regulation, we take these items back and dispose of them correctly. We are required to do this in any calendar year we place new industrial (EV) batteries on the market.
If any of our customers or in certain cases other end users, require us to take back industrial (EV) batteries, they should contact our appointed recycling partner by visiting https://www.cartakeback.com/ or call 0330 818 85 50 so that we can make the necessary arrangements for return, proper treatment and recycling of the battery.
